CME Privacy Policy

Information collection
Geisinger collects information volunteered by the user through the online CME calendar registration web page.  The information we collect is name, email address, social security number, address, place of employment, degree, phone number, and mail code.  Information is not shared with other organizations and is for Geisinger CME records only. 

Use of information
You may receive periodic mailings from us with information on upcoming CME events.   If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by emailing us at cme@geisinger.edu .  You will only receive telephone contact from us if we have questions regarding your on-line registration.

Security
We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving user data exchanged with our site and have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you.
